About the Treatment

About crow's feet treatment

Crow's feet are the fine lines that radiate outward from the corners of the eyes, becoming visible particularly when smiling or squinting. They form because the muscle that closes the eye — the orbicularis oculi — contracts repeatedly throughout life, gradually folding the overlying skin until creases become permanent.

Anti-wrinkle treatment for crow's feet uses small, precise injections of botulinum toxin to gently relax the lateral portion of this muscle. The eye continues to close normally; smiling, blinking, and natural expression are preserved. What changes is that the repeated folding is reduced — softening existing lines and preventing further deepening.

At Vincere, the goal is softer eyes, not changed eyes. The injection pattern, dose, and depth are tailored to preserve the warmth and crinkle that make a smile feel genuine. Over-treatment risks a flat, less expressive look; conservative placement keeps your character intact while making the lines around your eyes less prominent.

Common concerns addressed

Visible lines when smiling

The classic crow's foot pattern — fine lines that fan out from the eye corners with expression. Most responsive to anti-wrinkle treatment.

Lines that remain at rest

When crow's feet are still visible even when not smiling. Indicates lines are becoming etched — treatment can soften them but may need to combine with skin quality protocols.

Asymmetry between the eyes

When one eye shows more pronounced crow's feet than the other — often due to dominant smile patterns. Treatment can be adjusted to balance the asymmetry.

Preventive treatment in early 30s

For clients beginning to see crow's feet form but wanting to slow their progression before they become deeper.

First-time anti-wrinkle clients

Crow's feet are often the first area treated for clients new to anti-wrinkle injections — the result is usually subtle, natural, and confidence-building.

Your Journey

Your treatment journey

01

Consultation

15 min
Dr. Vincent examines your eye area at rest and during expression, identifying the specific pattern of lines and how the orbicularis muscle contributes. The injection plan is tailored to preserve natural expression while softening the lines.
02

Skin preparation

3 min
The treatment area is cleansed and precisely marked. Topical numbing is offered but rarely needed for this small area.
03

Targeted injections

3–5 min
A series of three to four small injections per side using a fine needle. The treatment is brief — most clients describe each injection as a quick pinprick. Tiny raised marks settle within an hour.
04

Aftercare & review

5 min
Aftercare instructions provided. A 2-week review is offered to assess the result. The crow's feet area is sometimes treated alongside other upper-face areas (forehead, frown lines) for a complete refresh.
Why Vincere

Why choose Vincere

The eye area requires particular precision. The orbicularis muscle is delicate, sits close to the surface, and is adjacent to muscles that control eye opening and brow position. Mistakes are visible: drooping, asymmetry, or loss of natural eye expression. Dr. Vincent brings AMI Faculty-level injection technique specifically to handle these delicate zones.

The aesthetic philosophy is conservative by default. The eyes carry much of how a face communicates — they are where warmth, age, and emotion are most visible. The intent at Vincere is to soften crow's feet enough to look refreshed, while preserving the eye expression that makes you recognisable.

Every plan is built from your consultation, not a template. Two clients with similar-looking crow's feet may need quite different injection patterns based on the underlying muscle anatomy and how their faces move. The personalisation is what produces the natural-looking result that good treatment in this area requires.

The effect develops gradually — most clients notice softening from day 5 to 7, with the full result visible by 2 weeks. The crow's feet area sometimes responds slightly faster than the forehead because the muscle is smaller.
Crow's feet treatment results typically last 4 to 6 months. Some clients metabolise the protein faster or slower; with repeated treatments, intervals between visits often lengthen because the treated muscle weakens slightly over time.
Not when the treatment is conservative and well-placed. The intent at Vincere is to soften the crow's feet lines while preserving your natural eye expression. Over-treatment in this area is the most common cause of an unnatural look — Vincere's approach is conservative by default to avoid this.
Yes — that is specifically the goal. The treatment relaxes the lateral portion of the muscle that creates the lines, but the rest of the muscle continues to function normally. Smiling, squinting, and blinking are all preserved. The change is that the lines are less pronounced, not that the expression is reduced.
The injections are very quick using a fine needle. Most clients describe each injection as a small pinprick — the eye area is more sensitive than the forehead, but the treatment is brief enough (3 to 5 minutes total) that it is well-tolerated without numbing.
Crow's feet treatment has no downtime in most cases. Tiny raised marks at the injection sites usually settle within an hour. Some clients have small bruises that resolve in a few days — the eye area is more prone to bruising than the forehead, though most clients have no visible mark. You can return to normal activities immediately.
Yes — crow's feet are often treated alongside forehead lines, frown lines, and other upper-face areas for a complete upper-face refresh. Dr. Vincent will discuss whether single-area or combined treatment best matches your concerns at consultation.
