Vincere Aesthetic Clinic is founded and led by Dr Vincent Tan, who has also previously helmed two other aesthetics clinics as a medical director along Orchard Road, Singapore. Dr Tan left the last clinic because he felt it was about time to fulfil his greater vision of creating a clinic that is both scientific and poetic.
The clinic name Vincere was drawn from Dr Tan’s mission to ensure a sincere approach with each and every client, and he does that by marrying the two words ‘Vincent’ and ‘Sincere’. Thus, Vincere Aesthetic Clinic was born.
To quote the Greek poet Sappho, “What is beautiful is also good”. This phrase sums up the axiom of Vincere Aesthetic Clinic. Beauty is a human virtue – just like the arts, music and craft.
CHAPTER 1 – THE ARTISANS
With Vincere, we are positioning aesthetics treatments with the same respect as making arts, composing music and practising craft. Dr Tan is an artisan with a considered eye for aesthetics and beauty.
The artisans – from sculptors to musicians – have a particular quality: they see the potential in everything. In a lump of stone, they discover a sculpture; in a sheet of paper, the vision of an artwork. The same is true for our practitioner at Vincere. With every patient who comes through our doors, we identify their beauty and shape it into perfect forms. We believe that beauty has an intrinsic value and cannot be manufactured or faked. OUR DOCTOR
DR. VINCENT TAN
Dr Tan graduated from the University of Leeds, the United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Dr Tan’s journey started when he completed his foundation year training in the UK, trained in various surgical sub-speciality, and spent a significant amount of time in Ophthalmology, where he refined his manual dexterity and attention to details. He chanced upon an opportunity to work with a renowned Japanese Plastic Surgeon Dr Hidenobu Oba, where he further developed his aesthetic skills. Currently Vincere Aesthetic Clinic is located in Somerset, Orchard Road, Singapore.
Coupled with his meticulous nature and eye for beauty, he builds a reputation of friendliness and professionalism. Dr Tan further pursues a wider scope of the field, with a vision to better understand client needs and create more value in the health and aesthetic ecosystem. He was admitted to the world prestigious MBA (Master of Business Administration) programme in INSEAD and spent a year both in Singapore and in France.
His distinct value is not only to bring beauty to people but also to stimulate the innate confidence in people. Apart from his clinical interest, Dr Tan is an avid wine lover and holds the Wine and Spirit Educational Trust (WSET) Level 2 certificate with distinction. He also spends his free time painting, where he continues to express his passion for art and craft. Dr Tan is certainly an artisan with a considered eye for aesthetics and beauty.
